Bob, a married advertising executive, has a penchant for flirting with women during his business trips. While on the road, he picks up a hitchhiker and later encounters a stunning blonde, leading to a night of passion. However, his carefree evening takes a dark turn when he hears a radio announcement about an escaped mental patient named Ann Marie Brown, known for her violent tendencies. Bob starts to suspect that the alluring woman he spent the night with might actually be the dangerous fugitive, but reality proves to be more complicated than his assumptions.
