Title: I Will Rise Up Plot: A wounded Eric cunningly manipulates Sookie, much to Bill's frustration, while managing to infiltrate her thoughts. Meanwhile, Sookie and Jason share a moment, reflecting on their recent escapades. Lafayette and Lettie Mae, convinced that Eggs is to blame for Tara's injuries and strange behavior, concoct a plan to rescue her from Maryann’s influence. Hoyt attempts to convince Maxine that his relationship with Jessica is legitimate, but she remains unconvinced. In jail with a group of Bon Temps partygoers, Sam plots his escape from the increasingly obsessed Maryann. In Dallas, Eric and the other vampires face scrutiny from Nan Flanagan, shocked when Godric steps up to take responsibility for their PR crisis.
