The station faces a tough situation with both Roy and Chet hurt—Chet from an explosion and Roy from a fire in a warehouse. Meanwhile, the paramedics attend to a boy who has fallen from a tree, and Rampart General helps out a tree surgeon. Johnny picks up extra shifts with Squad 8, but the absence of proper equipment leads to a tragic outcome for a heart attack victim.
