Episode Overview

In Shrewsbury, Missouri, just outside St. Louis, Ty sets out to enhance safety in the home of two twins facing birth defects, while also transforming a coffee shop owned by a man with cerebral palsy. This episode features two inspiring heroes. Dawn Martirez, a former beloved pediatric nurse, now dedicates her life to her twin boys, who are affected by rare genetic disorders: one with 9P minus and the other with Crouzon Syndrome. The second hero, Sam Malek, runs a coffee shop where he hires individuals with disabilities, using a portion of the profits to support local charities and help his employees gain confidence and independence.
