While Jeremy drives, Richard and James opt for air and rail travel—taking a plane and a train—to reach Verbier, Switzerland, first. Meanwhile, in Lillehammer, Richard teams up with the Norwegian Olympic Bobsleigh team to test his speed on a bobsleigh course, competing against James, who speeds along the parallel road in a Mitsubishi Evo driven by Henning Solberg. The Stig showcases his skills by taking a Formula 1 Renault around the track, while classic racing cars face off against modern road vehicles for a speed showdown. Comedian Eddie Izzard joins as the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car.
