Marty and Debbie get the Bird-Kersees ready for their children's first day at human school. They are particularly concerned about young Dick Butkus facing bullying, but their well-intentioned advice on handling bullies leads to unexpected complications. At the same time, Larry and Jackie start to feel overwhelmed by the Weavers' constant stream of parenting advice.
