Episode Overview

Army sappers are experts in breaching enemy defenses, tasked with clearing obstacles that stand in the way of their forces. To earn the esteemed sapper tab, soldiers must undergo a grueling four-week program filled with rigorous physical challenges, scientific principles, and advanced demolition techniques. The pace at sapper school is relentless, relying solely on what they can carry in their packs. Over these weeks, participants face rigorous demolition tests and physical hardships, culminating in a week of relentless missions with barely ten minutes of sleep each night. Burdened with 80-pound packs, they navigate through every challenge their instructors throw at them. On the final day, they discover the outcome of their efforts, knowing that over half will not achieve the prized Sapper Tab.
