Episode Overview

Gordon is determined to surpass his Express speed record just once more. When he mistakenly receives Henry's special coal, he keeps it a secret, believing it will boost his performance. However, Henry's firebox suffers due to relying on ordinary coal, causing Gordon to feel guilty. Realizing his mistake, he decides to help Henry by exchanging tenders, allowing him to run smoothly again. Although this means Gordon will forfeit his chance to set the Express record, he prioritizes friendship over personal glory.
