Episode Overview

Thomas isn't feeling his best, prompting Edward to escort him to the Works for repairs. While he's away, Duck steps in and quickly wins over Annie, Clarabel, and the passengers with his charm. Once Thomas returns, he takes back his usual responsibilities, but the workmen have neglected to fix his handbrake correctly. One day, the Fireman fails to engage it firmly enough, leading to Thomas and the coaches speeding off uncontrollably. It takes the swift intervention of Harold and an Inspector to bring the runaway train to a halt.
