Episode Overview

Toad the brake van is feeling downcast, constantly watching everything slip away from him and yearning to move forward for once. Oliver is eager to assist but is unsure how to do so. Later, while pulling trucks up Gordon's Hill, Oliver has Toad as his brake van. A snapped coupling causes the trucks to break free, unexpectedly placing Toad at the front of the train and heading straight ahead. Unfortunately, he finds himself on the Main Line, facing potential disasters looming in his path!
