Episode Overview

Percy despises his role as a "middle engine," sandwiched between trucks both ahead and behind. 'Arry and Bert, the mischievous diesels from the Smelter Yard, play a prank on him by forcing him into this position. Meanwhile, James brags to the other engines at the shed, claiming that he wouldn't fall for their trickery. To his dismay, he finds himself in the same predicament, stuck as a middle engine. Frustrated and unwilling to budge, James stubbornly refuses to move, creating chaos at the yard.
