Episode Overview
Buddy brings his mother to the new factory for her first look, sharing how this new venture fulfills his dream, much like the original bakery was his father's aspiration. To celebrate her birthday, he decides to create a special cake inspired by his father's traditional style, featuring heartfelt words from him and the team. Later, Buddy takes on a unique challenge from the Kennedy Space Center, crafting a cake that they want to "lift off" in honor of the Space Shuttle program's 30th anniversary. He also tasks his bakers to create cakes for the new online catalog, but selecting the best one proves tricky. Meanwhile, Sunshine, the bakery's top cake designer, reveals her plans to leave for nursing, adding to Buddy's stress as he juggles the bakery and the demands of new fatherhood with Carlo.
