In Persian, the hill of Hari Parbat is referred to as Koh-i-Maran, and it is topped by a fort bearing the same name. Constructed by Mughal Emperor Akbar, this fortress has stood as a quiet observer of the shifting tides of power and the numerous rulers eager to claim this land, often described as paradise on Earth. Our journey takes us to Kashmir during Akbar's ascent to power over the region, where we explore the numerous stories of different leaders competing for dominion over Hari Parbat and their ambitions to rule Kashmir.
