Neri continues her lessons with Kal about emotions. Meanwhile, Cass is haunted by dreams of her time on Neri's island and recalls Brett's presence there. Lena overhears her father and Kellar discussing their scheme to create a news bulletin aimed at luring some ORCA kids to the island to uncover what they know about the alien device. Jason feels anxious about his upcoming helicopter flight test and struggles to take control. Kal searches the spaceship for a gift from his parents, and when Benny and Brett find him playing a peculiar instrument and in tears, Brett explains the reason behind crying. After seeing the news bulletin from UBRI, Brett and Neri head to a distant island, believing they might discover another piece of the Synchronium. Lena rushes to ORCA to alert the Bates brothers about the trap but is too late for Brett. However, she manages to warn Jason. In a hurry to reach Brett and Neri, Jason embarks on another helicopter test with Morgan and dives into action
