Episode Overview

As the polar ice caps continue to melt, Malakat seems indifferent about the looming threat of the red virus while preparing to invade Earth. Shersheba confronts him, demanding an immediate cure. Harnessing the power of the pyramid, Malakat creates one, which Shersheba promptly releases into the ocean. However, the red virus mutates rapidly, growing stronger and outpacing the pyramid's defenses. Meanwhile, Neri approaches the pyramid, pleading with Malakat to stop the virus, but he orders her execution. Shersheba intervenes, claiming that Neri cannot be harmed, allowing her to escape amid their argument. Walking along the beach, Neri, Mera, and Jason contemplate their next steps, and Neri wonders if Charlie might hold the key to a solution.
