Episode Overview

Stan tasks Daniel with meeting Dirk Auer, a 38-year-old German speed enthusiast who boasts about his remarkable turbo-powered rocket backpack and skates that enable him to achieve incredible speeds. Meanwhile, Guy Bavli asserts he can manipulate objects using only his mind. To test this, we take him to a hardware store, where he bends nails and cutlery from the shelves and seemingly moves items without any physical contact. Daniel also encounters Nigel on a running track made of shattered glass. A pain specialist examines Nigel's body, pondering whether his feet might hold the secret to alleviating pain elsewhere. Lastly, Steve Woodmore claims he can speak at an astonishing rate of 637 words per minute—10.25 words per second, which is four times the normal speed.
