Relentless (2021)

Episode Overview

Monroe checks out a local comedy club and concludes that the comedians aren't very good. Feeling inspired, he decides to give stand-up a shot himself, adopting the stage name Buddy Ficus. However, when Monroe takes the stage, the crowd finds his jokes unamusing and starts to leave, with only Muriel, Henry, Hope, and Lisa sticking around. Despite the lack of laughter, Monroe mistakenly believes he nailed his performance. It falls to Henry to gently break the news that stand-up comedy might not be Monroe's strong suit.
