Butters discovers his father's secret late-night activities, which prompts his mother to react violently, attempting to harm both herself and Butters at home. After reconciling with her husband, she comes to terms with her actions towards their son and they concoct a narrative to mislead the media. Meanwhile, Butters fixates on the idea of returning home to celebrate his parents' anniversary dinner at Bennigan's, unaware of the chaos that has unfolded.
