Episode Overview

Harm and Mac take on the case of Paul Bauwer, a former Navy Seal turned homeless man, accused of killing three men during a convenience store robbery. Initially, it appears to be a straightforward case of triple homicide. However, as they dig deeper, they learn that Bauwer acted out of instinct to protect a young boy—his estranged son—whom he failed to recognize. Ashamed of his current circumstances, Bauwer wishes to keep his identity hidden from the boy. Harm and Mac must craft a defense that proves Bauwer's actions were justified while concealing his connection to the sole eyewitness.
