JAG (1995)
S03E24 To Russia with Love
Episode Overview
In 1980, at a train station, several Russian soldiers stand guard over Harmon Rabb, Sr., who is being held captive. A KGB agent captures a photograph of the scene, which eventually reaches Harmon Rabb, Jr. in the present day. Clayton Webb briefs Harm at JAG about the individuals in the photo, revealing that one of them, Victor Lushov, is now in San Diego. Harm requests permission from the Admiral to take an F-14 flight to visit his mother, concealing his real purpose. Upon arriving in San Diego, Harm meets Lushov, a former Russian pilot who had interrogated his father after he was shot down in Vietnam. Lushov recounts how Harm Sr. deceived the Russians with disinformation, which was more damaging than silence. He provides Harm Jr. with the KGB file number for his father and expresses his desire to keep their conversation private.
