Bud's inaugural case as a freshly minted JAG attorney involves defending his estranged father, a retired Navy Chief accused of defrauding the Navy during his tenure managing Ship's Stores. Despite their fractured relationship, Bud feels a compelling duty to represent his father, who has personally asked for his help. Complicating matters further, Harm is assigned as the prosecutor, sending a wave of anxiety through Bud, as he understands he’s facing one of the best in the field.
