Episode Overview
Mac takes on the case against a SEAL jumpmaster accused of causing a trainee's drowning during a parachute incident while he was allegedly hungover. Bud represents the jumpmaster, with the help of an ambitious new female Lieutenant eager to be the first female JAG. While investigating, Bud and Lt. Singer unearth a safety file that supports the prosecution's case but is inadmissible in court. The file mysteriously appears in Mac's car, and after a brief look, she decides to burn it after consulting with Harm. During the trial, Lt. Singer objects to Mac's reliance on the file, and Bud reluctantly agrees, leading to Mac facing charges of prosecutorial misconduct and her replacement by Harm. Following a stern reprimand from the Admiral, Mac takes some leave to visit Mic in Australia, unexpectedly encountering the Admiral and Dr. Walden on their own weekend getaway.
