Episode Overview
Mac is frustrated when Harm unexpectedly informs her that he cannot attend her rehearsal duty because he needs to finish his six-month carrier landing qualifications. He reassures her he’ll make it back in time for the wedding. Meanwhile, at the church, Chloe remains hesitant about befriending Mic. On the USS Patrick Henry, Harm discovers that the Landing Signals Officer grading him sees him merely as a "land-based Washington weenie." His concerns about receiving an unfair evaluation come true when his first landing attempt is waved off. After persuading the LSO that they were following his instructions, Harm gets another chance and successfully completes his landings, including night traps. He requests to return to Andrews AFB, but with a storm approaching, air operations are halted. However, he and Skates are promised they can take the first Tomcat out once conditions improve. Finally, they are cleared to fly as the storm subsides.
