Harm and Sturgis are tasked with investigating whether the Lieutenant's story about breaking into warehouse containers to steal is legitimate or if he is indeed a key player in the smuggling ring. Their inquiry reveals that when he was just four years old in Saigon, he was evacuated on the last helicopter from the US Embassy on April 29, 1975, after his mother made the heartbreaking decision to send him away while she stayed behind. He eventually made his way to the US, joined the Marines, and rose through the ranks to become a distinguished pilot.
