Episode Overview
The audience presumably approved Hobbes' choice to ally with Fawkes. Meanwhile, Darien, in the final throes of Quicksilver Madness, becomes fixated on tracking down Arnaud. Hobbes stays close, aiming to prevent him from harming innocent people. They eventually locate Arnaud, but Hobbes intervenes to help him flee when it looks like Darien might kill him. Afterward, Darien leaves Hobbes, who is soon approached by Arnaud. With his own Quicksilver gland malfunctioning, Arnaud needs Darien's as a reference to repair his. In exchange, he offers Hobbes a Stage Five Counteragent to help reverse Darien's condition. Hobbes assists in capturing Darien, and Dr. Reynolds performs the surgery to fix Arnaud's gland. Although Darien receives the Counteragent, he attempts to attack Arnaud right before it takes effect. Arnaud seizes the moment to escape as the Counteragent activates. Later, he visits Reynolds
