Episode Overview

Tristan and Siegfried encounter Roddy, a drifter accompanied by his dog, as they wander through the area. With Mrs. Hall needing to tend to ill relatives for a few days, Tristan is tasked with taking charge of cooking, cleaning, and assisting in the surgery. His complaints fall on deaf ears as Siegfried shows little sympathy. Granville Bennett arrives, seeking help for his dog, Phoebe, who requires a minor procedure. He extends an invitation for lunch the following day to James and Siegfried, but James once again indulges a bit too much. Meanwhile, Helen uses the opportunity to practice her first aid skills on him.
