However, Rachel's unexpected involvement with rival Jesse St. James complicates her romance with Finn, putting the entire club in jeopardy. To get to the bottom of Jesse's intentions, Mr. Schuester visits Shelby Corcoran, the coach of Vocal Adrenaline. Meanwhile, Will is navigating his newfound single status and pondering whether to take his relationship with Emma further. Adding to the chaos, Sue Sylvester returns from her Boca retreat, more determined than ever to dismantle the glee club and take down Will.
