Episode Overview
In the opening episode of the season, New Directions holds auditions to determine who will be the next lead of the glee club. This brings in a new wave of talent, featuring Marley and Jake Puckerman, who is Puck's half-brother. At the same time, Rachel faces challenges as she begins her journey at NYADA, trying to impress her strict dance instructor, Cassandra July. Along the way, she encounters Brody, a charming upperclassman who catches her eye.
