Meanwhile, Vicki joins Briana at the Red Cross to donate blood, despite her deep fear of needles. Kara struggles with college expenses and lands a summer job at a local boutique, which turns out to be quite the workout. Lynne is on edge as she plans the ideal 18th birthday for her high-maintenance daughter, Raquel, but tensions flare over outfit choices, jeopardizing her plans. At a trendy restaurant, Lynne meets the other housewives for the first time, but quickly makes a blunder that sparks awkwardness. The night takes a turn when Tamra confronts Gretchen about her treatment of her sick fiancé, straining their new friendship.
