On November 18, 1958, Sam realizes he has a fear of heights when he jumps into the life of a trapeze artist. Her sister insists he catch her during a daring triple flip, performed without a safety net. Their father is not thrilled with the situation, especially since his wife tragically lost her life attempting the same risky maneuver a few years prior.
