On November 10, 1985, Joey Dinardo, a charming lounge singer, finds himself fleeing from mob assassins. When Sam leaps into his life, he discovers that Joey's ex-girlfriend and past musical collaborator have tracked him down, but their reunion quickly turns into a frantic escape.
