Episode Overview

In Yaxunah, Pati uncovers Yucatán's own "league of their own." She becomes part of the Amazonas, a softball team comprised of indigenous women, joining them for their morning drills. As they carve out their identity, they challenge the stereotype that women should remain in domestic roles. After guiding Pati through the fundamentals of the sport, Doña Enedina extends an invitation for her to enjoy Brazo de Reina, a delicious tamal filled with hardboiled eggs and ground pepitas.
