Episode Overview

After Dharma realizes her driver's license has lapsed, Greg urges her to take her responsibilities more seriously. In the process, she discovers that the cherished diamond ring from Kitty is missing. Eventually, she finds it on the roof, smeared with tar. However, when she brings it to a jeweler for restoration, she learns it's merely an impressive imitation, leading to an awkward confrontation with Kitty. Meanwhile, Pete seeks Dharma's advice on how to win over Gretchen. Her straightforward tips prove effective, and soon Gretchen is smitten with Pete, who finds the situation unbearable. Additionally, Marlene's role as a critical bookstore clerk is highlighted, culminating in Greg finally letting her go.
