Con and Rita's home in Post War Preston feels outdated and gloomy. This Greek couple had always envisioned a house full of children, but after many failed attempts, Con suggests a fresh beginning might be necessary. However, Rita is attached to their home and is unwilling to move, convinced that a bright, open-plan layout is all she needs to feel content for the long haul.
