Title: Falling Plot: In 1974, Ted receives an acceptance letter to a law school in Utah, but he declines to invite Elizabeth to join him, causing strain in their relationship and leading her to feel responsible for the growing distance. At the same time, a series of female student disappearances plague Washington state. Campus officer Cheryl Martin becomes convinced that a composite sketch of a potential suspect suggests a connection between these unsettling events.
