Episode Overview
Paddy finds himself on camera for an armed robbery, facing a possible 20-year sentence. Desperate, Mimi urges him to reach out to his brother, Noel, the only person who might be able to assist him. However, Paddy’s troubled past with Noel makes him reluctant to seek help, and he initially prefers prison over reconnecting with his sibling. As the weight of his predicament sinks in, he realizes he has no other option. Meanwhile, the Gallaghers owe Mimi three thousand after Frank consumes a box of her drugs, leaving Ian as the sole hope for their rescue. When Ian’s business fails him, he feels cornered and resorts to stealing from the Jockey’s till, leading to chaos. In the police station, Carrie is promoted to sergeant, much to Tom's annoyance as he feels she’s misusing her authority. However, a casual remark leads him to uncover a troubling secret about Carrie, giving him leverage over her.
