Sisi (2021)

Episode Overview

Sisi is expecting a child, but the young imperial couple's joy is short-lived. Tensions in Hungary escalate, and unrest brews across Europe. Countess Esterhazy believes that Sisi might sway the Emperor into negotiating with the Hungarian nobility, so she sets up a covert meeting between Sisi and Count Andrassy. However, just before Sisi has a chance to discuss her plans with Franz, an assassination attempt occurs during the christening of their daughter, Sophie.
