Another assassination attempt on Franz was thwarted, yet tragedy soon befalls the young imperial couple in Budapest with the death of their beloved little princess Sophie. Sisi is engulfed in profound sorrow, and as her grief deepens, Franz grows increasingly distant. Fanny faces the consequences of her actions.
