However, as he immerses himself in learning, he becomes increasingly isolated from the outside world. Meanwhile, Sally and Tommy opt to replace their outdated television with a cutting-edge model, only to find themselves obsessed with acquiring every new gadget. On a different path, Harry and Vicki are on a quest to start a family, but the complexities of medical procedures are causing Harry to lose interest.
