Tommy is still heartbroken over his split with Alissa, but Sally and Harry urge him to find a reason to visit her, hoping to coax her into watching a movie together. As the two head out, Strudwick grows suspicious and questions Dick about their plans. Mrs. Dubcek suggests they might have run off to elope, prompting Dick and Strudwick to rush off in search of them, inadvertently leaving Mary behind. Meanwhile, Tommy has picked a horror film to entice Alissa into cuddling, but Sally and Harry arrive to turn the moment into a chaotic reality.
