Overview

In 2025, Earth faced a devastating invasion from colossal creatures from another galaxy. During the ensuing conflict, humanity's last hope was a massive robot called Yukio, piloted by Tetsuo Yabusame. As the alien forces closed in, Tetsuo and the Earth Defense Force launched a desperate final offensive but were ultimately defeated. Yukio was obliterated in the fight, leaving Tetsuo to escape in a pod. After eight years in cryogenic sleep, he finally returns to a desolate Earth, buried under ice and snow—transformed into a frozen wasteland.
