Ten weeks have passed since President Kirkman's wife, Alex, tragically died in a car accident. Concerned for his well-being, his senior staff urge him to consult a therapist, leading him to reluctantly meet with Dr. Adam Louden. At the same time, FBI Agent Hannah Wells and Aaron Shore embark on a trip to Cuba as part of a trade delegation, but things quickly spiral out of control. As lives hang in the balance, Kirkman faces a pivotal choice that will put his leadership as commander in chief to the ultimate test amid his personal grief.
