Green Acres (1965)

Episode Overview

Mr. Haney leases a rooster named Bertram to Oliver for fifty cents daily, but it turns out to be a pecker instead of a crower, prompting Oliver to also receive a chicken called Alice. Determined to improve his farm, Oliver attempts to have a phone set up in the kitchen, despite the fact that it won't be operational for three months. He also tackles issues with the plumbing, roof, and relies on a shaky generator for electricity. Meanwhile, Mr. Douglas encounters the forgetful Hank Kimball, the county farm agent, who collects soil samples for testing.
