Episode Overview

When Joe Carson steps down from leading the Hooterville centennial festivities, Oliver takes over the responsibility. He envisions a re-enactment of the town's founding, featuring himself and Lisa as Horace and Doris Hooter. In this theatrical portrayal, the charming saloon girl Doris tricks Horace out of his hard-earned money intended for a farm. However, with her exceptional card-playing talents, she ultimately helps him reclaim his funds, leading to their marriage and the establishment of their life together in Hooterville.
