Episode Overview
Hooterville is thrown into chaos when a bank thief and his girlfriend take refuge in Pixley. The twist? The robber bears an uncanny resemblance to Oliver Wendall Douglas, both in looks and voice. The confusion begins with Eb, who mistakenly believes he’s spotted Oliver cheating on Lisa when he sees the doppelgänger kissing another woman. Mr. Drucker and Mr. Kimbell also get mixed up when the impostor visits Sam's store. As a result, Oliver is arrested while the real robber is apprehended. With both men in custody, the police can't distinguish between them until Lisa arrives to identify her husband. Surprisingly, she picks the robber, but Oliver devises a clever plan involving a mole identification test to prove his identity.
