After bidding farewell to Lori at the airport, a heartbroken Lisa looks for work to occupy her time. When Haney sees her filling out an application at the County Welfare office, he mistakenly thinks she’s there to get free soup. Before long, the residents of Hooterville are convinced that Oliver, whom they consider foolish, has squandered his money and sent his wife out to secure employment.
