Jessie Devlin, struggling with alcoholism, arrived at G-Wing for a two-week stint, only to be mocked by the inmates and Sylvia for her drunken state. Later that evening at the pub, Dominic unwittingly revealed Zandra's escape from the clinic to Helen, who was furious and insisted she had to inform Stubberfield. In a shocking turn, Denny attacked Jessie with a fork, later confessing that Jessie was her mother who had left her behind as a child. After being released, Jessie reached out to Denny in a letter, claiming she hadn't drunk in two days and requested a visiting order. Meanwhile, Helen informed Dominic that she’d reported Zandra's escape to Stubberfield, ensuring their jobs were safe—unfortunately, Lorna remained unaware as she was busy smuggling valium for Zandra.
