Episode Overview
On the day of Nikki's trial, Fenner makes one last attempt to sabotage her by trying to blackmail Di into slipping a scalpel into Nikki's bag. Fortunately, Di refuses as they head to court. Virginia O'Kane faces hostility from the other girls, except for Tina Purvis, who suffers from her sister's anger for being supportive. In the courthouse, after the evidence is presented, the jury delivers their verdict—Nikki's sentence is cut down to three years for manslaughter, which she's already served, making her a free woman! Later, while checking the bathrooms, Di discovers Virginia's lifeless body with Yvonne nearby, raising questions about whether she is a murderer or a pawn in Fenner's game. Meanwhile, in sunny Spain, Shell and Denny are on the run from the police, leaving us to ponder their fate after they leap into the sea.
