On Cheryl's birthday, Jim plans to surprise her with a diamond necklace. In a bid to cut costs, he purchases it from Andy’s dubious supplier, only to discover that the jewelry once belonged to a deceased woman. Soon after, Jim finds himself plagued by the woman's vengeful spirit, who begins to haunt him relentlessly. As he navigates the consequences of his frugal decision, Jim must find a way to appease the ghost before Cheryl's special day is ruined.
