After spending several years in Hawaii, new parents have come back to Detroit, Michigan, eager to raise their daughter surrounded by family. They anticipate finding a spacious home on a large lot for a fraction of the price they were paying in Hawaii, but they quickly discover that the housing market in the Midwest has shifted significantly since their departure.
